Hello There!

Hello bug says Hi!
Sorry guys and gals, I didn't realize it had been since Nov. 2015 that I entered a blog post. And I don't know if anyone is still following anything I have to say! I guess at first this past Fall I got really busy at work. Then more time went by and I thought I'll get around to a post sometime later. Then the holidays came and went, and it got easier to put it off. I'm the oldest in my family and everything that needs to be done falls on my shoulders. This past Fall and Winter I was sort of bummed out that I still don't have a special some to share my life with. Oh I have a lot of friends, just not a pal to be close with. But I'm working on it! And I might have a few prospects that I'm working on. ;-)
When it gets as bad as this cartoon I let you know! The good news is it's starting to warm up here in the Great Midwest. I can put myself out there by getting on my bike, put on my spandex bike kit and all. Or go for a 3 to 5 mile walk-a bout town wearing my cut-offs.

Just going out for a three mile walk.
Back to one of my first points why I seemingly abandoned my blog. Sometime this past year I finally signed up for Facebook, and it was just easier to read what friends had to say and for me to make post and pictures. I mentioned work too supervisors want more from us than just eight hours a day. We were told it you could work 10- 12 hours a day that would be great. A little The Office reference there!  Tomorrow is a  chance for something new to happen. I welcome your thoughts if any one is still around.
The Promise Of A New Day.

  1. Welcome back! Stay with us this time. You had nearly reached my six-month - they are never coming back rule. A group of hospice workers just published a list of things people say near the end of life, they noted that NO ONE said, I really wish I had worked more.

    1. Hi Travel, I guess I almost got dropped from the blog roster didn't I? I'll endeavor to post at least once a week always something happening. Do you think you have a trip in your future to Nebraska?

    2. Nebraska? Not that I know of. In May, Chicago and San Francisco for work, Rome, Venice and Modena for pleasure. The next thing on the calendar after that is Lake Tahoe in September for work (it is rough duty - but someone has to do it.)
