The Earth Germs got Me

The Earth germs got me!
Just like the on NBC TV show that was on in the 80s. The character Alf catches a cold from the human family he is living with. Only Alf doesn't get better. He says the Earth germs got me. Just like I saw on the movie The War of the Worlds. I've had to deal with an invasion of the Earth germs. Ten days ago it started out as a Strep  throat and now is a sinus infection. So Tuesday I went to the doctor and received a prescription for ten days worth of antibiotics. And all the side effects that goes with taking them.   Through all of this I'm still working 50 hours plus overtime at work. Which leave little or no time to have any kind of social life. Maybe I'll meet a partner some day. They'll have to be a night owl just like me. Now I'm of to buy groceries, wish me luck in meeting some good looking hottie. ;-)

  2. I was wondering what happened to you Randy. By the way, you're a natural blog writer. You have the talent. I wish you would write more but I understand that you're a working man and now you're sick. I hope you're well soon and back to looking for your hottie. It's going to happen Randy, I know it is!

    1. Hi Ron, Yes I'm still here thou working lots of overtime. I guess I could say that I'm over worked and under f**ked. I've got three hotties I'm kicking around here sort of speak. They're all are interested in talking with me. But I don't know if it will go any further than that. Might be a good subject for a blog post. I hope you're back on two feet soon!

  3. I dealt with the cruds a while back...upper respiratory infection, so 10 days Augmentin, then another 2 weeks of continued coughing and hacking and misery. I'm still recovering from it all. A partner at this point would just mean 2 sick people in the house, though I am trying, too!

    Peace <3

    1. Hi Jay, Been thinking about you. Hope you're doing alright. I haven't done much of any thing online, with work and all. So the creeping coughing crud has been going around out east too. I hope your feeling better, I'm on the mend. Still got my cough, it's getting better. It should I've had all week to practice. ;-)

    1. Thank you Pat. I've got 10 days worth, two pills twice a day for a week and a half. Problem with antibiotics is they don't discriminate, even the the beneficial bacteria are killed off. Oh well this too shall pass. Thanks for stopping by! RAH.

    1. Thanks David, You are very kind to stop and leave a comment. I'm a terrible blogger for not leaving comments on others as well. I just need to work on my time management skills. Thank you for your kind words. RAH.

  7. Don't forget it was the Earth germs that killed the Martians in War of the Worlds. I had forgotten that ALF didn't get better; was that how the series ended? Anyway, take care and get better soon.

    1. Welcome! Someone new. Hi Peter. As you might have guessed I'm a huge Alf fan.I'm getting a lot better and so did Alf. They didn't kill him off, Alf said the Earth germs got me just like the aliens on War of the Worlds. He was cured by ingesting Earth ragweed. The series ended by Alf getting captured by the alien task force. Later on he was picked up on a cable TV movie, "Project Alf". As you can see I watch way too much TV Thanks for commenting. RAH
