Manage To Survive Winter So Far.

Well I guess it's been  awhile since another blog post. Mostly just trying to get though winter. Starting back at work after a two week break (trial run at being retired) from before Christmas to after New Years. I spent most of January being sick in one form or another. And now for the past several weeks on 10-12 hour days overtime. But one thing I can say about my job. It pays for the two habits I've come to enjoy, eating and sleeping indoors. LOL. Now it's just been cold and colder so not doing much of any thing. I been wanting to work out more maybe go to our town's indoor pool and swim some laps. More than a few of you saw me in my speedo at Bloggerpalooza in Delaware last March. I was going to wear that and give all the old ladies that signed up for water aerobics a thrill. haha. But my work schedule just seems to be eat, sleep, work, etc. I just need to work harder at finding time to take it easy. One good thing is Winter is 2/3s over and it's all down on the way to Spring.
My feeling of Winter so far.

  1. Good to hear you are surviving! Our first (and hopefully last) big snow event is falling as I speak, up to 12" expected. That is HUGE down here. Work just closed for tomorrow, and as cold as it is outside (and is forecast to stay), it could be Thursday or Friday before we go back.

There are times I wish there was overtime pay for me. Other times, not so much!
    Peace <3

    1. Hi Jay, Right now I'm very grateful for the extra money. Paying down some bills for fixing up the house foundation and of course the cool grand when the wheels fell off the car, ball joints, one half shaft, etc. Chat with you later!

    1. Sounds like it's about the same here in the frozen Great Plains. Expect no snow, just a dusting. Ron has a photo of me in a Speedo from Olde Time Photo when I did the Bradley Cooper bath tub shoot before we did the group photo. I'll ask him to email it to me. Keep warm and your dear little pussy....cats. lol.

    1. Dear Dr. Spo, Your offer is very tempting, I've yet to visit Arizona The big problem is finding the time. Right now is our busiest time of the year. Working 10-12 hours 5 days a week. I'll get with as what works best for you. It should start slowing down in a couple of months, April maybe?

  4. We could all move south, buy one way tickets to Hawaii or something. It is too cold to mention here. Wear the speedo - give them all a thrill.

  5. Hi David, Yes that would be nice, if I had the money. I would staying in my 5 or 6 bedroom cottage in Key West! Speaking of Hawai'i I lived there from 79-81 Now the most time I'd spend there is no more than 3 months. It's 5-6 hours from any where.
